SINGLE CUP ICED TEA BREWING
You will need:
– A dedicated stainless steel pitcher for tea steeping (12oz. “macchiato” pitcher)
– Timer
– Cup filled with ice
– Tea
Directions:
- Portion the tea brewing water into the steeping pitcher, filling the pitcher up to the bottom of the spout, approx 8 fl oz. (Maintain proper tea brewing temperature)
- Set timer for the brew (3:00)
- After brew time, add ice to the steeping pitcher (one half scoop). This is the initial shock to lower the tea temperature which helps prevent all of the ice in the customer’s cup from melting
- Stir a couple of times, then pour the now iced tea into the customer’s cup with ice
- Serve
